Creative Resolutions

Creative Resolutions represents my approach to conflict resolution.  Most commonly, I am called upon to mediate divorces or to dissolve live-together partnerships.  Sometimes, I am asked to settle grandparent/adult children disputes.  My vision and practice is to resolve disputes between warring factions in a cooperative, win-win way.

I am a Board Certified Marital and Family Attorney as well as a rabbi and a mediator.  I can breathe solutions into most conflicts.  Together we work to understand the underlying issues and to craft solutions where each party benefits and neither party loses.

Often disputes wind up in the courtroom before a judge who has a long line of cases before and after.  This judge has no time to learn about each party, to understand what is really important, and often, the legal system is too restrictive and only provides cookie cutter solutions.  

If you find yourself, or know of a friend, in a domestic dispute, please talk to me first to see what it would take to resolve the issues in a creative way.  Especially if children are involved -- please don't let disputes escalate into major warring and bloodbaths.  Children are the innocent victims of this acrimony.   Let's work together to make sense out of the dispute and resolve the issues and bring resolution to the arguments.

If the case involves dissolution of marriage, I am trained to write up the Marital Settlement Agreement which you can present to the courts to obtain a Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage.
